CIVIL SOCIETY INSTITUTE APPLAUDS MASSACHUSETTS LEADERS ON CLEAN ENERGY

The Civil Society Institute is pleased to see the clean-energy leadership shown by the following Massachusetts officials when it comes to the Cape Wind project:

Governor Deval Patrick.
Representative Barney Frank.
Representative John Olver.
Representative Michael E. Capuana.
Representative Niki Tsongas.

We urge Cape Wind opponents Senator Edward Kennedy and Representative William D. Delahunt to reverse their stance so that they can join the 86 percent of state residents who support this important clean energy project.

We also encourage those who have not taken a position on Cape Wind -- Representative Edward Markey, Senator John F. Kerry, Representative Stephen F. Lynch, Representative James P. McGovern, Representative Richard E. Neal, and Representative John F. Tierney -- to start speaking out in favor of the new Massachusetts Miracle: finding solutions to America's climate and energy crises!
